This study explores the comparative levels of emotional adjustment and life skills among students in Ashram schools of Shirpur Taluka. A total of 100 students (50 boys and 50 girls) from 4 schools were surveyed using researcher-designed tools: one measuring emotional adjustment (20 items) and another for life skills (25 items), both with three-point scales. The data were analyzed using statistical measures including mean, standard deviation, and t-tests. The findings reveal that boys scored significantly higher than girls in both emotional adjustment and life skills. These results highlight the necessity for targeted interventions to support the emotional and life skills development of female students in tribal residential school settings.
