This study analyzes the evolving patterns in students' educational interest in the context of the New Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023. These policies, focused on holistic development, critical thinking, and a flexible education system, are influencing students' choices, engagement, and motivation. Findings derived through the method of content analysis indicate that multidisciplinary and competency-based approaches encourage students toward self-directed and active learning. However, factors such as teacher training, lack of resources, and digital infrastructure pose challenges to the effective implementation of these policies. This study provides practical insights for policymakers, educators, and parents to foster students’ educational interest.
