"Operation Sindoor" is a symbol of India's strategic thinking that accepts the possibility of limited war despite the presence of nuclear weapons. This paper analyzes the complexity of war and peace under the nuclear umbrella through "Operation Sindoor". The scope of conventional military confrontation between nuclear-armed nations like India and Pakistan has not diminished, but the nature of war has become more complex through terrorism and limited operations. This study examines how military operations like "Operation Sindoor" reflect India's strategic responses in the context of India's "Cold Start Doctrine", "Minimum Deterrence", and Pakistan's "Full Spectrum Deterrence" policy. Ultimately, "Operation Sindoor" emerges as a paradigm that highlights the complexity of the possibilities of limited conflict, regional stability, and peace building amid the threat of nuclear war. This study forces policy makers and defense experts to consider whether nuclear weapons actually deter war or merely change its nature.
