Abstract:
Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar tried to give justice to Indian women by presenting Hindu Code Bill in Parliament. He wanted to give socio economic rights for the emancipation of women. He tried to bring reforms in customs and traditions of Hindu religion which were hurdles in the progress of women. Unfortunately parliament could not passed the bill. Dr.Ambedkar gave resignation of Law Ministry from Nehru's cabinet.
