Abstract:
The aim if this paper is to examine the consumerism in Indian consumer particularly for investor in non banking financial company. The rapid growth in the business of NBFCs also brought in its wake the need for effective regulatory action to protect the interests of investors. This led to a lot of regulation happening in the sector with the RBI making its presence felt for the benefit of the investors. For this study data has been collected from various secondary sources to evaluate the existing role regulatory framework for NBFCs, role of NBFCs and guide line for investor protection.
