Bhutan is the closest neighbor and close friend of India. The mutual relations between the two countries have been friendly. The main basis of India-Bhutan friendly relations is mutually beneficial economic and trade relations. Apart from being a landlocked country, Bhutan is also surrounded by Indian land from three sides. That's why most of Bhutan's trade is with India only. That is why India is the biggest trading partner country of Bhutan. The basis of India-Bhutan economic and trade relations is not profit-loss but mutual cooperation. In the presented short research paper, an attempt has been made to draw conclusions by analyzing India-Bhutan economic and trade relations in the present context.
