Abstract:
Serum uric acid comes under the title chemical tests in kidney disease. In this article we are mainly focusing on the increased and decreased levels in the blood and their correlation with Ayurved in terms of dosha, dushya, dhatu and Mala. Increased level of Serum uric acid refers to the term hyperuricemia and decreased levels means hypouricemia. These both events mainly cause due to the disturbed metabolism in the body. As we all know reason for every disease is mandagni, in the above said conditions also this is the main causative factor that we can correlate according to Ayurved.
