Abstract:

The objectives of the present study was to find out the knowledge of National Rural Livelihoods Mission for empowering women of SHG’s. The study was conducted in Bikaner, In which two panchayat samitities that is Bikaner and Kolayat, having highest number of self -help group. Total eight villages for present investigation (Napasar, Udasar, Udaramsar, Ridmalsar and Kolayat, Diyatra, Kharicharna, Jhajhu were selected random sampling technique. Fifteen women of SHG’s from each village were selected randomly thus forming the sample of 120 respondents. Interview technique was used for collecting data, with the help of developed interview schedule. Majority respondents possessed medium knowledge (75.83) about NRLM.
